Dreams & Expectations transports the viewer into surreal visual worlds in which dreams, longings, and the often contradictory expectations of the individual become powerfully and poetically visible. Between fantasy and reality, childlike imagination and social norms, visual stories emerge about identity, origins, and self-assertion.

Textiles, patterns, animals, plants, and everyday objects function as metaphors for cultural influences, familial expectations, and personal dreams. The works combine melancholy with hope, seriousness with playfulness.
